My interest in the medical field began during my 15 year Army career. However, it wasn’t until shortly after my service ended that I was able to attend nursing school. My interest in behavioral health was immediate, and I was employed in a variety of facility types while working on my Master’s degree. As a provider, I believe that medication is only a small part of treatment. For overall wellness, good nutrition, consistent exercise, and a nurturing environment are equally important. I strive to incorporate these beliefs into my practice, so I’m not just decreasing your symptoms, but improving your health.
Aurora Thrush, LPC, TF-CBT
I am a board approved supervisor for associate level therapists, and have 14 years of experience working with children and adults. I structure each session with your needs in mind, and utilize a Person Centered approach to psychotherapy. My goal for our sessions is to provide a safe space to build the trust and respect necessary for successful realization of your goals. We will work together to identify conflicts and aspirations, and begin untangling from the past that may be holding you back.
Sara Moss, PMHNP
With over 20 years of experience in emergency disaster management and public safety, I bring a unique perspective to mental health care. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Xavier University and my Master’s degree from Walden University, where I specialized in psychiatric mental health. I believe in individualized care and work from a trauma-informed lens to understand each patient’s unique history. My focus is on identifying and treating root causes to foster lasting wellness and improve the whole person. My approach is compassionate, supportive, and centered on helping individuals achieve balance and resilience.
